About me
I am a Ph.D. student in the Mechanical Engineeing at Texas A&M University, advised by Prof. Ya Wang.
From 2015-2018, I was a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Stony Brook University. I received my Bachelor’s degree in University of Science and Technology of China at 2015.
My research interests lie in the general area of embedded systems, particularly in smart devices, sensors, indoor human detection, as well as IoT and machine learning.

- Feb. 22, 2021: I passed my PhD defense!
- Sept. 10-12, 2019: I attended IWSHM 2019 and presented my work on “Compressive Sensing Based Indoor Human Positioning Using A Single Thermopile Point Detector”.
- Jul. 8-10, 2019: I attended 2019 ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit.
- Sept. 10-12, 2018: I attended SMASIS 2018 and presented my work on “Shuttered Passive Infrared Sensor for Occupancy Detection: Exploring a Low Power Electro-Mechanical Driving Approach”.
